Note that a touchpad defaults to the Xorg synaptics driver, configurable with flsynclient. But if you want to switch to libinput, rename /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/15-libinput-touchpad.confHIDE to 15-libinput-touchpad.conf, then restart the X server.

libinput is now being used for the mouse, which fixes Chromium. Keyboard is still on evdev.
